Day 14:

In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God  sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through  him. (1 John 4:9)

God’s love for us is the soil in which our love for God grows. So,  identifying his grace in all of Scripture is not a simply nice thing to do,  nor is it a novel approach to reading the Bible. Regular exposure to  grace ignites our love for God, which is the greatest command and our  greatest compulsion.

We need to identify the grace of Scripture in order to fan the flames of  love for our Savior. Our goal is not merely good interpretation of what  Scripture says. We need to develop a profound love for God that bears  much fruit.

Honoring the one we love above all is our greatest delight! So, let it be  our greatest motivation and the power for a life that glorifies God!

Prayer: Father, as I reflect today on your amazing grace in scripture,  please ignite my love for you so that I might glorify you in all that I do!
